Hi all who read this! Lindsay here... We are here safely! The travel went very smooth, the students did great. We're all proud of each and every student...they have been so respectful and have kept such great attitudes.
Sunday we went to church and heard a great sermon from Pastor Jim Lafoon. Everyone really enjoyed that. Yesterday we let everyone sleep in a little and we had a little orientation. Afterwards, we tried to go to the Central Park Zoo for Whitney's 18th birthday, but it closed. Instead we spent a little time at the famous toy store, FAO Swartz. Afterwards, we had dinner and met with people from MSNY who are going to be volunteering with our outreach. They're really excited we are here and excited to help.
Today is the first day of ministry. The students are in the room next to me talking about what the day holds. Soon, we'll go out to where the area high schoolers gather for lunch and invite them to an outreach meeting we're having tonight with Chris Berg. Please pray for us!
We're walking lots, praying lots, believing for lots. Please extend your faith for us. We love you and we appreciate and need your support!

Yeah!! I'm so excited! Thanks for the post
We have been praying for you all!
While Eric was praying Sunday am before your trip, he saw something in the spirit that I will have him share with you, since he can say it better!
Thanks so much for keeping us updated!
Awesome! :) :) :)
Just to briefly share what Eric saw when he was praying for the group...
he saw a picture of NYC and through the buildings he saw a large blimp moving through...like the blimp balloons that you see in parades. The large blimp was a loaf of bread. The bread symbolizes the presence of Christ...the meaning of the vision was that the group was freshly, daily, bringing the presence of Christ to NYC!
